A curated bench of practitioners built for real-world execution

Beyond the Magic is intentionally structured around capability, not celebrity. What follows is the leadership every engagement is anchored to — and the practitioner bench that stands behind it.

The architects who lead every engagement

Every BTM engagement is led directly by a named Performance Architect — a practitioner with decades of earned experience inside world-class organizations. They are the relationship, the strategy, and the accountability from first conversation through final delivery.

Maurizio Landi, Founder and Performance Architect
Maurizio Landi
Founder · Performance Architect
"Performance is not inspired, it is designed."

Maurizio is a hotelier at heart. Across twenty-four years in hospitality — from a family business, to the youngest general manager in his region, to fifteen years architecting service at Disney — he learned one truth he now builds his work around: world-class service isn't magic, and it isn't luxury. It's a system. A recipient of the Walt Disney Legacy Award, he taught more than 100 organizations at the Disney Institute before founding Beyond the Magic to help organizations design service into the systems that drive performance.

The specialists who stand behind the work

Assembled by conversation, not by resume. Every practitioner on this bench was invited because they hold a specific capability that took years — sometimes decades — to develop inside some of the most demanding organizations in the world. None of them are generic. All of them are proven.

Dr. Tricia Garwood, Leadership Strategist, Educator, and Creativity Advocate
Dr. Tricia Garwood
Leadership Strategist · Educator · Creativity Advocate

A lifelong educator and strategic consultant shaped by decades developing leaders inside The Walt Disney Company, Tricia works at the intersection of creativity research and leadership practice. A published author and ongoing researcher on how creativity drives problem solving, innovation, and collaboration, she helps leaders and teams unlock their full genius — approaching challenges with imagination, resilience, and purpose.

Her client work spans executive development and coaching, including global initiatives preparing senior leaders for the most senior roles; strategic consulting that aligns leadership development with culture and business strategy; and the design of large-scale immersive learning experiences, from executive academies to enterprise-wide leadership strategies. Her commitment to creativity extends well into the non-profit sector: she completed six years on the Board of the Creative Education Foundation — three of them as Board Chair — and serves as Director of Programming for the EPIC International Summit and on the Advisory Board of the EPIC Impact Society. Off the clock, she is happiest rallying on a tennis court or framing the world through a camera lens — passions that keep her perspective fresh and her creativity grounded. She joins the bench through Bright Bridge Strategies, a BTM alliance partner.
